Terms of Service

The Service

pip. is a Discord bot and companion dashboard that provides moderation, engagement, games, and related features for Discord communities. Some features are free; others require a paid plan or add-on. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Eligibility

To use pip. you must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and be able to form a binding agreement. If you use pip. on behalf of a server or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms and to install and configure pip. for it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law
• Abuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted
• Use the Service to harass others, distribute malware, or facilitate illegal activity

You are responsible for how pip. is configured and used in your server, including the actions of your moderators and members.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Free tier. Core features are available at no cost. Free-tier output may include pip. branding.
• Server Pro and add-ons. Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions (monthly or annual) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
• Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price. We will notify you of material price changes in advance.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll make it right.
• Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content and configuration you provide through pip. (for example custom commands, messages, and quotes). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring your content and its use comply with applicable law and Discord's rules.

Availability

We work to keep pip. reliable, but the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform maintenance, experience downtime, or depend on third parties (including Discord) whose availability we do not control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You can check current status at our status page.

Third-party services

pip. relies on third parties such as Discord and Stripe. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's terms at all times.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using pip. at any time by removing it from your server. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the license above ends and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, pip. and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of pip. after a change means you accept the updated terms.
